Snapchat and Dick's Sporting Goods Forge Data-Sharing Partnership
Snapchat has announced a new collaboration with Dick's Sporting Goods, leveraging LiveRamp's clean room technology to provide advertisers with direct data on how Snapchat campaigns influence in-store sales. The integration is now available to all U.S. advertisers.

Snapchat has unveiled a new partnership with Dick's Sporting Goods, designed to give advertisers direct data insights into how Snapchat campaigns drive sales activity in Dick's stores across the United States. The announcement, made via Snapchat's business blog, highlights a growing focus on closing the measurement gap between digital engagement and physical retail outcomes.

In collaboration with LiveRamp, the initiative will enable Snapchat advertisers to view ad response data alongside sales results from Dick's stores. LiveRamp will provide data clean room capabilities, ensuring a separation between in-store data and Snapchat's systems to facilitate a privacy-friendly exchange process.
This integration could prove valuable for advertisers seeking to inform their ad decisions with concrete, offline sales data. As Snapchat explained in its announcement: "With ongoing measurement gaps across channels and growing retail media fragmentation, we know advertisers need proof that upper-funnel media is driving tangible outcomes. This new LiveRamp Clean Room integration unlocks exactly that, closing the loop between discovery and purchase inside a leading retail media network."
Snapchat also emphasized the alignment between its audience and Dick's customer base, citing the popularity of sports content on its platform. "With 215 million Snapchatters watching sports content every month on average, we're focused on giving advertisers the tools to reach sports fans where they're already tuning in and understand how their campaigns drive real results," Snapchat said.
This partnership follows a series of sports-related milestones reported by Snapchat in May, which underscored its value as a sports engagement platform. Key statistics included:
- AR experiences for the 2026 Winter Olympics reached more than 110 million Snapchatters worldwide and generated over 307 million total impressions.
- Snapchatters engaged with AR in North America on Super Bowl Sunday nearly 2 billion times.
- Super Bowl Sunday-related content in Spotlight received more than 47 million views, an increase of 79% year-over-year.
Given Snapchat's broad appeal across various sports, the new data partnership appears to be a logical next step. The integration is now available to all U.S. advertisers, offering them a more direct line of sight into how their campaigns influence in-store purchases at one of the nation's largest sporting goods retailers.
