Snapchat recently announced a new partnership with Dick's Sporting Goods, providing advertisers with direct data insights to measure how Snapchat ad campaigns drive sales performance at Dick's stores across the United States.

The initiative is carried out in collaboration with LiveRamp, enabling Snapchat advertisers to compare ad response data against sales results at Dick's stores.

LiveRamp will provide data clean room capabilities to ensure isolation between store data and Snapchat systems, thereby completing the data exchange process in a privacy-friendly manner.

This is expected to become an important basis for guiding advertising decisions.

Snapchat stated in its official announcement: "Given the persistent cross-channel measurement gap and increasing fragmentation in retail media, advertisers need evidence that upper-funnel media can deliver tangible results. This LiveRamp clean room integration precisely meets this need, closing the loop from discovery to purchase within a leading retail media network."

Snapchat noted that the popularity of its in-app sports content makes its user base highly aligned with Dick's customer base.

Snapchat said: "On average, 215 million Snapchat users watch sports content each month. We are committed to providing advertisers with tools to reach sports fans, allowing them to advertise where users already are and understand how campaigns drive real results."

In May of this year, Snapchat released several data points highlighting its value as a sports engagement platform, including:

  • The 2026 Winter Olympics AR experience reached over 110 million Snapchat users globally, generating more than 307 million impressions.
  • In North America, AR interactions on Super Bowl Sunday approached 2 billion.
  • Content related to Super Bowl Sunday on Spotlight received over 47 million views, up 79% year-over-year.

Given Snapchat's high popularity across many sports areas, this data partnership is a natural fit.

Snapchat said the integration is now available to all U.S. advertisers.
