TikTok recently announced the launch of a six-city U.S. tour named 'Discover America' to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The event will collaborate with local creators and entrepreneurs to share platform operational experiences and release marketing insights such as regional audience reach, popular searches, and trending interests. TikTok stated that currently 8.5 million U.S. businesses use the app to connect with consumers.

TikTok said in an official statement: "From small towns to big cities, TikTok has become a destination for discovering local communities, businesses, and culture. As the 'Discover America' tour travels across the country, we will spotlight local creators and entrepreneurs who showcase their stories on TikTok, while also highlighting our latest discovery, creativity, and safety features—the very features that support their work."
Users can either attend TikTok events in person or follow along in-app to learn from featured creators on the 'Discover America' website. The website also provides multiple insights into TikTok activity among users in each tour city.

These insights, valuable to marketers, include relative audience reach data for each region, as well as popular search trends.
Additionally, TikTok shared new data on popular in-app interests and provided insights into how users leverage short-form TikTok videos to learn new skills.
