TikTok recently announced a series of new AI features designed to assist with ad creation, including an agent tool that can generate complete video ad campaigns based on text prompts. The tool can also provide creative suggestions to marketers based on analysis of popular videos within the app.

The newly launched Symphony Agent has been integrated into TikTok's Symphony Creative Studio, and its core capability lies in using AI to analyze current trends and help marketers build complete ad campaign plans.

Marketers can input text prompts, images, and video examples as inspiration material into the system, and Symphony Agent will return video examples with similar styles for reference based on the initial description.

Users can click to view detailed data for each example to gain a deeper understanding of its performance.

On this basis, creators can click the "Create your own" button to build similar video ads based on the system-generated examples, incorporating the expanded guidance information from the initial prompt.

Symphony Agent also supports marketers in building video ad campaigns from scratch using the same method.

When creating promotional content from scratch, marketers only need to input available campaign information, and Symphony Agent will generate video examples using ByteDance's latest Seedance 2.0 model.

In essence, this system can automate the entire video generation process, allowing users to complete creation without opening a camera app. The examples shown so far look decent, but the actual output quality will depend on the level of detail in the prompts and the system's processing capabilities.

This feature has the potential to become a convenient way to create TikTok ad campaigns, enabling marketers to draw inspiration directly from the most successful promotional cases within the app. Even if the generated examples are not perfect, the process can still provide guidance on effective approaches to different content and presentation styles within specific niches.

Additionally, TikTok stated that the updated Symphony tools also allow marketers to create static image assets, as well as generate video and audio digital avatars. These tools also support translating and dubbing videos into multiple languages.

Actual results may vary depending on the use case, but this new feature is worth trying out within TikTok's expanding set of ad creation tools.

TikTok's Symphony Agent also has the ability to generate creator briefs and can identify and invite creators to participate in ad campaign proposals. Meanwhile, improved search tools help marketers find existing creator videos relevant to their brands.

Finally, TikTok is rolling out a new integration with Zoyumi, an AI-powered SaaS platform under Dentsu. This integration will make it easier for Dentsu clients to access TikTok content trend insights.

TikTok stated: "Through this integration, Dentsu clients will be able to directly use Symphony creative tools, including the Image to Video feature currently available, as well as Caption Removal, Dubbing, and Digital Avatars features that will be available in the future."

These AI experiments are quite exploratory and have the potential to significantly lower the barrier to launching and scaling TikTok ad campaigns. Even if brands remain cautious about fully adopting AI-generated content, these tools can provide deeper insights by identifying relevant trends and content based on real TikTok usage and engagement data.
