Meta Launches Embedded Booking Feature for Lead Ads, Streamlining Third-Party Reservation Process
Meta announced the launch of an embedded booking feature for lead ads, integrating third-party booking platforms directly into the ads to reduce drop-off between form submission and appointment scheduling. It supports Calendly and HighLevel, with HubSpot coming soon.

Meta recently announced the launch of an embedded booking feature for its Lead Ads, which integrates third-party booking platforms directly into the ads themselves. This update adds pre-filled fields to the booking form to streamline the user sign-up process.

According to the officially demonstrated process, with this update, interested customers will be directed from the lead ad directly to the advertiser's third-party booking process after submitting their personal information. This integration ensures that high-intent leads are directly routed to the booking stage on the advertiser's website, thereby reducing friction in the booking process.
Meta explained in its official statement: "The time gap between form submission and booking has always been a challenge for service-based advertisers. Potential customers may fill out the form with genuine interest, but by the time they receive a follow-up email or visit the booking website hours later, their interest has cooled. With embedded booking, we completely eliminate this gap—the booking experience appears immediately after form submission, precisely at the moment when lead interest is at its peak."
This mechanism is expected to ensure that more leads carry through their initial interest, and it may also drive more users to complete registrations directly from the ads themselves.
Meta stated that the setup process for this feature requires no coding. Advertisers simply paste a scheduling link, select "Book Time" as the call-to-action, and publish. The system then automatically detects the calendar service provider and integrates the corresponding tool where supported.

Currently, this process supports bookings through Calendly and HighLevel. Meta stated that HubSpot support will be available in early August, with plans to add more scheduling partners in the future.
This is a positive update that is expected to drive more users to complete registrations directly from Facebook ads, thereby enhancing direct response performance and booking volume.
The embedded booking feature is currently only available for Facebook ads and is expected to achieve global full availability in October.
